The Tabitha Project reaches out to isolated and vulnerable women in Tooting. Once a month we run a Brunch at church offering food, fellowship and faith. We also meet weekly for bible studies and fellowship within the group on a Tuesday evening in homes, or on a Wednesday morning at church.
The International MSG seeks to reach out to those of other cultures and faiths in and around Tooting.
We run a fortnightly Book Table outside Tooting Market. We also focus on praying for the persecuted church around the world and seek to support our mission partners through prayer. We meet for bible studies, prayer, and evangelism training on Tuesday evenings in homes in Tooting from 7.45pm-9.30pm.
We are seeking to reach out to Tooting/local families with the gospel. The Families MSG runs a weekly parents and carers group (Friday Frogs) and a monthly dads and tots group (Dad & Co.), as well as other, one-off activities such as children’s Christmas carol services, and a Holiday Club in the summer.
The Frontlines Group are hosting a new Life Explored course, beginning the evening of Tuesday 16 May 2017, at church from 7.45-9.15pm. There is also a Wednesday morning group, starting on Wednesday 3 May 2017 at 9.30am.
Once a month, members of St Nicholas Church meet for perhaps our most important meeting – our Church Prayer Meeting (CPM). This is held on the second Tuesday of each month and during this week, our evening Mission Shaped Groups gather centrally to praise God, sing, listen to his word and predominantly pray for our world, our community, missionaries that have ties with, and our church. There is also a Daytime Church Prayer Meeting on the Wednesday after the CPM (please contact the office for details).
About four times a year St Nicholas Church runs Christianity Explored courses. There are about six sessions which give people the chance to examine the claims of Christianity for themselves; the course looks at the book of Mark, in the Bible and explores who Jesus is, why he came, and what it means to follow him.
