Giving to St Nicholas Church

Giving to St Nicholas Church
For over 900 years, God has blessed the proclamation of the gospel from St Nicholas, as Christians have sought to reach out with the saving news of Jesus Christ. We now minister to tots and carers, children, young people, young adults, professionals, families, seniors in our community, and also overseas, through our mission partners in Bolivia, Nigeria, Sri Lanka and India (among others!).

Our plans for 2013
Our plans are to continue to grow our reach into the parish by:
- building up Christians at St Nicholas
- reaching out with the gospel
And we want to continue in our outreach beyond the parish by:
- sending out Christians to serve elsewhere
- supporting our mission partners

Our 2013 Giving Focus
We have a very simple financial objective for 2013 and that is to become self-sufficient as a church. This means that we aim to generate the income we need from our church family and friends to meet the increasing costs of running the church and the costs of reaching out with the gospel. To do this we need to grow our giving by 25%.

We had a particular focus on Giving in May and you can click here to listen to the sermon series. Whether you consider yourself a member of St Nicholas or not (maybe you're visiting this site and attend another church), start with this series if you're considering what to give whether to St Nicholas, or other gospel-focused organisations or people. The Bible isn't silent on the subject of money and wealth. It gives us great reasons for supporting gospel ministry, and healthy criteria for assessing our own giving.

What's next?
A useful pack of information is available with this and more information about giving to St Nicholas. Please see Debbie Dawton or Stuart Hull at church to get a pack, or have a chat through what and how to give with us next Sunday.

If you'd like one of us to contact you directly, as church can be a bit busy on Sundays, please send Antonia an email by clicking here and she'll forward that to us. Don't forget to give us your telephone number.

And if I want to give now?
We'd encourage you to speak to us first but we can accept one-off donations via and Charities Aid Foundation Bank website click here.
